A Touch of madnessthere is a feeling
deep within me slowly it is creeping and it makes me weak a plague of the mind afflicting me touches of madness and recurring dreams a part of my soul has died deprived of what could be mine there is a vision clear as can be of rapture and craving like a spell on me it's in the cards that our stars align touches of madness and unbreakable seals a pact with the devil has its hold on me lingering poison and insatiable greed touches of madness take hold on me LOST AT SEA Here I am
lost at sea every wave engulfing me and the rain keeps pouring and the rain keeps pouring here I drift in the storm all my life every bit now torn and it beckons me to come to the light and it beckons me to the great divide and I call your name in the silence that remains and I hear a whisper of burning shame and I sink below to the depths of my despair far from the shallows to the deep nowhere... here I am lost at sea And every hour is maddening to me and the wind keeps howling and the wind keeps howling All the pressure every moment all the deception all the lies you concieved is killing me and I go to the light to the great divide and I call your name in the silence that remains and I hear a whisper of burning shame and I sink below to the depths of my despair far from the shallows to the deep nowhere... and I call your name in the silence that remains and I hear a whisper of you calling my name but I wander now never to be found I’m floating away far from the shallows too the deepest of my pain... Surrendering sight I return to your arms Though every word harms Sweetest lies told In your toxic hold I waste away slowly still feeling lonely I search for salvation In deep deprivation To be saved by the nothing....  Down the corridor
I walk in fear Trembling Feeling Presence near I gaze at the door forever far As the hallway expands and it remains ajar Behind it is darkness Its contents unknown yet I wander towards On my own There is a silence that creeps and stares As the door comes closer Like someone is there As I approach the door slams As it stands shut I extend my hands The knob is brass and it smells of fire And as I touch I hear a screaming choir Though the hall is silent and I am on my own the voices tell me I'm not alone I turn the knob with screams that pierce and as it opens the creak is fierce I hear a cackle behind me now I turn to see there's no one around The room is dark I cannot see The void is clouded And my fate is sealed The door slams again And I stand in black as my eyes adjust There are claws up my back His eyes sear my flesh His tongue caresses my ear As he whispers "Be still my dear" The demon is haunting I cannot break free I try to scream But my voice is meek His teeth sink down And puncture my soul I try to fight But he still holds With all my strength I pry and pry Then an idea comes to mind All this time I thought I was lost I remembered it clear Where there is darkness Light is near I reach my hands towards the darkened wall I pull and pull with what I hold Then a light burst thru the ceiling And as he screams He screams to me "YOU CANNOT WIN" And then I replied "He who holds the light will always win the fight" The demon faded into hell where he came and there I stood alone again.
