update 9/25/23
hello, everyone! it is me and i promise i am not dead.....
well shit. you thought i was gone, huh? lol! quite the contrary.
1 month and a half ago at this point, i had the surgery that changed my life. i am excited to announce that i am not only feeling better, but within the next 2 or 3 weeks, the new content will be flowin on in! i am hoping to god i continue to feel better!
i also have some devestating news. Sun Lay Silent has postponed the debut EP. why? because unfortunately, we cannot get a hold of our producer to make progress on the final master, so now we are going to have to re-record our album FOR THE 3RD TIME.....that is gonna take awhile...
meanwhile, i am involved in a few collaborations and am also working on new solo music. i do not know my plan as of yet, as without morgan, i have no guitarist or producer for my solo music. but i am hoping to find a team mate or 2 to get that going. last album, the gallows tree, i had to pay almost 7000 bucks altogether to make it possible. crazy right? well this time i am kicking around (but i am not really a fan of this) of starting a kickstarter or gofundme to get some of the funds required to pay friends who are also musicians to help me make my next works possible. i may have to, as last album costed a pretty penny and it was all toward morgan and making the cds happen...
this time i am planning a lot better and prepping well in advance before i do anything. i may release 1 single on the day of the kickstarter if i do it... but first i gotta decide what song out of my new arsenal is worthy. so far i am in the process of creation and so far it is probably the best i have written.
Anywhooooo- i am gonna go do other stuff now.... like sit here for another hour or 2 planning. i hope you guys are all safe out there and hopefully are still with me as i continue the path to a new journey!

as of next month, i will be oin hiatus for a little while from music, as i am getting a surgical procedure to save my life. but in order to heal properly, i gotta NOT sing for a few months. NOT. SING. for me, that's like telling me i cannot breathe... but i have to do it. during those months, however, i am focusing on prepping this music for vocals and also getting a better twitch schedule going. since i will be mostly bedridden for 2 months, i am going to be streaming a ton, as i may get very bored during this time... you can find my twitch channel here.
but after this recovery period, i am going to be in the studio to finish off all of this music. and i am hoping after recovery, i can finally have the full plan in detail to share from both Sun Lay Silent and myself.
For now, if you are not following my socials, please do so, as it is the best place to keep up to date on what has been happening. it also helps the music grow more. :) i am so thankful for you guys being here with me after The Gallows Tree came into the world. As of today, Frozen reached 26k views, we are at 944 Youtube Subs, and we are seeing a lot of growth. i could use improvement on spotify, but i am just glad you guys have taken time to listen and tell me you enjoy it! if you have not yet, stream it or GO GET A COPY. you can find it in PHYSICAL form on my BigCartel and DIGITALLY on all other platforms, including bandcamp!

i left my job to pursue my dream... 12/28/22
this blog goes into detail about a decision I made in order to be able to put more time and effort into my music. it is not that I do not want to work. I am actually experiencing a lot of health problems and having to experience rude people on top of that made me get to this choice. finances will be tough for awhile, but I think that this is what I have been needing to do for a very long time both for the sake of my mental a physical health and for my music. this means MORE IS COMING! stay tuned!

I am so excited to finslly show you guys the remastered versions of my already released singles, the cover i made, and the new songs you guys have not heard yet. And in case you are wondering, YES. THERE IS HURDY GURDY.

Excuse My Silence... 12/10/21
Hey there everyone! I have a very important announcement that I have been forgetting to mention for a few weeks now. So much has happened and I hope that I didn't lose you during this turbulent time.
So To start, the band had to go on hiatus for a few months. Our guitar player, Mark, got into a severe accident where he had to be hospitalized and heal properly in order to return to playing guitar. He is actually doing better now and is slowly getting to the process of returning to the shred, but it will take awhile, as we want to ensure the health and safety of our guitar hero before he returns, we have not worked on anything in his absence, as we always value his input. <3.
Secondly, The Gallows Tree is currently in production. But I have been forgetting to mention that I have 2 more singles coming out for this album that I think you will enjoy. One of them comes out tomorrow! Here is the official post from my Facebook/ Insta page!

Hey guys. Hate to break it too you but I am still alive. lol. a lot had happened in these 4 months that I have been absent.
Sun Lay Silent has started studio recordings, so it has been a crazy ride. we hope to show you what we have very soon! it has been slow, as covid has made things very busy and we have had really bad timing and schedules constantly hold us back but despite that we are producing something truly incredible. We are looking forward to the journey ahead!
Another cool occurrence these past couple of months is the solo album. IT IS AMOST DONE! I am literally recording the last song then all that is left is hurdy gurdy parts and mixing/ mastering. Everything is coming together very nicely. I hope to have a release date for you guys very soon! I am currently getting the materials together for a music video and also waiting anxiously for a collaborator to finish a very special music video.
Other than this little blurb there has not really been too much going on. I have mostly been working my jobs. I opened an Etsy Shop for Tarot Readings! I started reading tarot about 10 or so years ago and decided I wanted to try the whole being a fortune teller thing. if that's your jam,

Announcement 05/25/21
Greetings from the other side of the computer screen! I took a look back at all my stuff and realized it has been a hot minute since i updated my website or given any sort of announcement of what the hell has been going on! XD! So howdy! Hope you're all doing well! It occurred to me that MAYBE I should at least explain myself. I do post updates occasionally to YouTube and Insta but other than that, i have not really said too much as far as what the hell has been happening on my end. So here is the quick summary.
So, as of this week, I am pleased to announce that the album is officially 2/3 of the way done and thanks to a very lucky opportunity on my end, I have a guest on my album that I think you guys will really love. he happens to be someone I am a HUGE fan of and I don't want to embarrass him by talking for eons about him but when the time comes, I will be announcing more details. For now, though, I will say that I am planning something really special for it and you're gonna love it!
I will also be doing a studio sesh with Morgan on Friday the 28th to finish said guest song, as the vocals said guest sent me were FRIKIN PRISTINE and it made me realize I needed to do a little better on my end to match his awesomeness. XD. After this song, I got that and the next single being mixed and mastered which will put me at only 4 more songs to get done and the album will be all recorded. These last 4 are the hurdy gurdty songs.... so they WILL take awhile. lol
Why is it taking so long, you may be wondering... well, I have had a lot going on on my end. last month it took a turn for the worst. I let my health decline to the point where I had to rush myself to the Emergency room. Since that trip, though, I have made a lot of life changing choices, as now I realized I had too much on my plate. I also have 2 jobs now that eat into my time and I hardly get a moment to myself anymore. So it has been tough, but I am doing my best to balance my health and all of this. I feel loads better than before. After this blog I am getting my ass in bed, as I know sleeping poorly is 3/4 of the reason my health declined in the first place... (on top of my chronic illnesses...)
It has been one hell of a time on my end, but I am trying my best to get to everything. The weekend I hope to publish the first karaoke cover I've had time for in months... Hopefully with this new laptop Vincent won for me, it will come a lot easier as far as video editing. Hope to see you all soon with new material! Till then stay safe and healthy!

Announcement 03/22/20
Greetings, everyone... In the wake of recent events, I would like to take this time to announce things....
First off, EVERYTHING IS NOW DELAYED. It really sucks. I wanted to go out in the next couple fo weeks to finally shoot the music video for my upcoming single... And Sun Lay Silent has been approaching the finish line for this EP and was planning to sit with our producer and talk things out for the recording process. BUT THEN SOMETHING COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL HAS HAPPENED AND ESCALATED SO QUICKLY....
I know I am not the only artist/ band who has been affected by the recent spread of COVID-19. Many are calling out to their fans to get them out of the financial crisis of cancelling/ postponing tours. The situation witht he virus has evolved so quickly that now every person in the world is being forced to "social distance". Meaning NO SOCIAL GATHERINGS, CONCERTS, CROWDS, BAND PRACTICES, etc.... So, of course, I do not want to put myself (because I am immunocompromised and Vincent and I still have to go to work) or my band mates and production crew at risk... So we are postponing the music video shoot until this whole thing blows over. Hopefully all is normal again soon and normal life can resume. But for now, watching people fight over TP and the situation grow staggeringly worse is killing me anxiety wise.... I have been unable to sleep at night from nervousness. I also see on the news that my friends in other countries are being affected by this and it is sad... So until everything is handled, I gotta postpone everything. My music video shoot for my single will be pushed back to as soon as everything blows over., so that will most likely still be out relatively soon. We are replanning a lot. So this production is bound to be AWESOME! Plus it gives me time to write the rest of the Gallows Tree EP that I am planning to release in Winter 2020... <3... I was also hoping the Sun Lay Silent album would be released in Fall 2020 and our first single's music video to be filmed and released in Summer 2020, but now, from the looks of things, we may have to push it back all the way to 2021... I will be keeping you all posted on the situations.
So to lower everyone's risk, STAY THE FUCK HOME. If you really love your friends and family, then YOU WILL STAY THE FUCK HOME, WASH YOUR HANDS, AND BE SAFE. Hey there everyone! As I type this out, I am making updates to this site. I would like to tell you what has been up lately.
First of all, the band is going well! We have our EP also the fully written and now have 5 original songs to slap onto that sucker. We are just finalizing everything before we hit the studio. We have posted some teasers on our insta, so keep an eye out for those. We are getting a lot of positive feedback, which is a great sign. We are also starting to plan things out for our first music video. We are also going to start auditioning more people to fill our open positions and are looking into getting another rehearsal space. 🥰as with our equipment, it is getting cramped in Mark’s room. Lol
I am also producing my next solo EP called The Gallows Tree. The first single for it is gonna be teased pretty soon once I plan everything out. I have been making small hints at it on my instagram page and been vague booking so much and I am finally happy to announce that the music video is happening soon!!! You’re the first to find out the title of the album tho, as it won’t be announced till my single is released. I am super stoked about the whole project, which will be directed by Vincent. 😍😍😍😍 He is a very gifted writer with a diabolical mind and let’s just say that the concept to this video and the SunnLay Silent videos are gonna get people talking.
I would also like to inform you all that I am racing to 1000 subs on YouTube. This means 1000 awesome people (like you) who love what I do. I have felt so motivated to take this music thing further and I feel this is the next step toward my goal. First of all, the band is going well! We have our EP also the fully written and now have 5 original songs to slap onto that sucker. We are just finalizing everything before we hit the studio. We have posted some teasers on our insta, so keep an eye out for those. We are getting a lot of positive feedback, which is a great sign. We are also starting to plan things out for our first music video. We are also going to start auditioning more people to fill our open positions and are looking into getting another rehearsal space. 🥰as with our equipment, it is getting cramped in Mark’s room. Lol
I am also producing my next solo EP called The Gallows Tree. The first single for it is gonna be teased pretty soon once I plan everything out. I have been making small hints at it on my instagram page and been vague booking so much and I am finally happy to announce that the music video is happening soon!!! You’re the first to find out the title of the album tho, as it won’t be announced till my single is released. I am super stoked about the whole project, which will be directed by Vincent. 😍😍😍😍 He is a very gifted writer with a diabolical mind and let’s just say that the concept to this video and the SunnLay Silent videos are gonna get people talking.
I would also like to inform you all that I am racing to 1000 subs on YouTube. This means 1000 awesome people (like you) who love what I do. I have felt so motivated to take this music thing further and I feel this is the next step toward my goal. Greetings, everyone. I come bearing wonderful news.... You can pre- order the first of my singles starting the 13th (this Sunday) just in time to enjoy it a few weeks before Halloween ends 🎃🎃🎃. This song is gonna be only 69 cents on itunes and amazon and will be going up on bandcamp and soundcloud on thursday, which is ALSO the day the lyric video for this song premieres (at 10 am sharp on my youtube channel). Why only 69 cents? First of all, giggity.🤪 second, this is a song I mixed and mastered ON MY OWN and it is a learning experience, experimental, and also an Oppurtunity to learn from your feedback to know how I can fix things for future releases. It is also not metal. I also made all the graphics in the lyric video on my own, edited the video on my own, handwrite the lyrics. The donation of 69 cents will be going to both the tools needed to produce my music and also toward the @sunlaysilentofficial debut single production and music video. Every penny helps out immensely! Announcement: september 15th 2019
Hello, beauties. I have been working many sleepless hours in the night lately and have finally come to an impasse where I am stuck in 4 different projects and all of them are creating music. One involves a friend from a well known band that I am playing keys for for a really interesting project. Another involves my soundtracking and another is my band, Sun Lay Silent. I have been itching to announce these things, as I am not really allowed to talk much about any of the upcoming projects that much, but in all this hard work that I have been doing, I am happy to announce that I am soon to release 2 new singles in the wake of the one year anniversary of my debut, Point of No Return. Morgan and I are working our asses off to get one of the heavy ones done and I am currently mixing, mastering, and doing the art for a lyric video for the first release due in October. I am hoping to present the name and cover art for said song very very soon. But for now, it is still being drawn out, and I am creating the art as well as the music for it. I promise it will be a lovely Halloween present for you all, because you know I love Halloween!

I promise you that no matter what it takes and what happens to change things, the band is going to be getting something out to you soon and the wait till be worth every little bit!
until all this happens, I wanna thank you for being supportive during this time, as it has been very hard to be a sociable and functioning human due to lack of sleep and lack of interest in anything else but my music. I have been seeing many of my friend I joined this journey with find success and it motivates me to keep going. I thank you all for your understanding.
